SAHF’s local partner in El Salvador is our in-country sister Foundation, FUSAL. The marriage of these two organizations since their inception, has been one of mutual growth, and of a grand vision to provide the citizens of El Salvador with programs which will enhance their lives for years and years to come.

Founded under Salvadoran Law, FUSAL was born as the end means to a process of humanitarian aid that began in the United States. What began as an operation that was handled from a small house, has grown to become one of the most respected and sophisticated development Foundations in El Salvador.

Our mutual vision has been one of permanence and commitment to build strong and healthy communities. The Foundation’s name in El Salvador, FUSAL symbolizes and reflects the nature of all the work that we are trying to accomplish (Salvadoran Foundation for Health, Human Growth and Development).
