Red Solidaria is a government program geared to contributing in the fight to overcome poverty in the most poor and vulnerable regions of El Salvador. Since 2006, FUSAL has been contracted by Red Solidaria to execute the program in Guaymango, Ahuachapán and since 2007, the contract was expanded to include Jujutla and Tacuba helping more than 11,131 familes.

The program works in supporting families and self sustainability through strategies such as: transferring funds to families that keep their promise to maintain their children in school and current on their health exams and vaccines. They also monitor and follow up with families to support them in accomplishing their health and education commitments. They conduct an adult literacy campaign and provide eyeglasses to those who need them.

Now Red Solidaria and Libras de Amor work as one program on the communities being served.
