SAHF and its sister foundation FUSAL are bringing aid to
El Salvador for the COVID-19 emergency

COVID-19 has created a worldwide pandemic. We are all facing challenging times, and those most vulnerable in El Salvador that count on our day to day support are feeling the effects of this emergency even harder. Towards that end, we have created several ways that you can help.

Through this GoFundMe page you will be able to support 1,130 families with food for two weeks. Our initial goal is to raise $150,000 towards this initiative in an effort to reach 1,000 families, since then we had reevaluated our goal. We understand this is a difficult time for many around the world, so we thank you again for you joining this effort. Read more by clicking on the green GoFundMe logo on the picture.

Together we are more powerful!

SAHF is actively working with its US In-Kind partners to obtain medicines, medical supplies, medical equipment, hygiene products and food to send to El Salvador.

We are asking all our friends and supporters to join SAHF in its efforts to aid those affected in the coming weeks and months.

Any help is truly appreciated. The funds will be used to obtain and ship the needed goods.

We thank them all for their generosity and solidarity!

With your help, donations from this GoFundMe will go towards the purchase of 20,000 masks made out of woven cotton and approved for use by the CDC. Every dollar raised will provide a mask for a vulnerable Salvadoran!

Our goal is to raise $20,000 to allow for the distribution of 20,000 masks among the beneficiaries of our programs in El Salvador. If our collection is successful, we will continue to raise funds to provide as many masks to as many families as possible.

The masks are made in El Salvador; thus contributing to the local economy.

We thank you for your generosity during such a difficult time!

SAHF has joined its sister Foundation, FUSAL's Solidarity Fund initiative whose fundraising goal is to acquire and donate to the people of El Salvador at least:

1) Twenty thousand (20,000) tests for COVID-19 together with technical assistance in epidemiological tasks to identify more cases and contain the spread of the virus. Xpert®️ Xpress SARS-CoV-2 brand tests are manufactured by CEPHEID Pharmaceutical and FDA approved. They have the particularity of being processed in 45 minutes on GeneXpert machines and their unique temperature-controlled packaging allows for easy transport from one location to another.

2) Ten thousand (10,000) personal protective equipment (PPE) kits for health professionals, taking into account the best practices suggested by international organizations. The PPE kit will include: (1) level 3 protective suit, (1) Face Shield, (1) Pair of Gloves, (1) KN95 Mask, (1) Shoe Cover
