There are devastating floods and landslides which have made many flee from there homes while many are feared to have been trapped by the torrential rains. Nine people, including an 8 year old child have been reported dead thus far, and 900 homes have been destroyed or damaged.

Salvadorans have been in lockdown for more than two months now and many families have not been able to work. This natural catastrophe is aggravating the situation exponentially putting many at greater risk.
SAHF is raising funds to support efforts to provide non-perishable food, clothing, hygiene products, baby products, blankets and cots for the thousands who are displaced from their homes and are being sheltered at different centers in El Salvador. Our sister foundation FUSAL in El Salvador will be receiving donations at their warehouse beginning Tuesday, June 2nd.

We ask for your solidarity in this time of dire need.
