OUR MISSION:
To enhance the well-being of the underserved people in El Salvador through human development programs in health, nutrition and education implemented with our in-country sister Foundation, FUSAL, and other agencies.

WHAT WE DO:
We ship medicines, medical supplies, medical equipment, food, and educational materials to support our programs. Since 1983, more than $700 million worth of this type of aid has been distributed. In addition, SAHF sponsors a bilingual program at an urban high-risk community.

WHO WE SERVE:
We focus on financially challenged Salvadoran men, women and children.
-7,500 children under the age of 5 who live in rural El Salvador.
-1,105 children receiving English classes who live in an at-risk community.
-Over 900 hospitals, clinics, rural health posts, schools, orphanages, nursing homes and other NGO’s.
OUR IMPACT:
We provide nutrition and early childhood development programs to more than 7,500 children under the age of 5 who live in rural El Salvador fostering healthy minds and bodies.

1,105 children from kindergarten to high school receive English as a second language instruction giving them an opportunity to break the cycle of poverty by having a skill that is well remunerated in El Salvador; so they can provide for their families in a local job market.

Hundreds of public and local institutions receive millions of dollars worth of free medicines, medical supplies, food and educational materials to support their programs and expand coverage to their beneficiaries.

36TH ANNUAL GALA | 2019

We are excited to celebrate this year’s Love and Light Gala – The Last Night of Disco as we transport ourselves to the glam of the 1970’s.

100% of proceeds raised from sponsorship sales of this event will fund crucial programs that allow us to help the most vulnerable of Salvadorans as well as bring them transformational experiences, such as the bilingual education program.

This year, SAHF is honoring the Kazma Family Foundation for 15 years of generous support to our mission.

There are a number of sponsorship and underwriting opportunities available for this special gala so please commit and be an agent of change.

You won’t want to miss this unique celebration combining our mission-driven cause with great entertainment, fine dining and fabulous dancing.
